The skies, they shimmer don't they?

It is the squid-inky dark night, that I love
For your dimpled darling face glows at me
In the joyous starlight that flits, bounces
Angel wings flying, gossamer moon winds
Lifting up from the edge, all purple skies
The night washes the grimness away, oh
And proves to me yet again, my love
Smiling in bliss, o denizen of heaven
Dark tho' the skies, they shimmer stardust

if it were not dark we would not see those stars...and without dark the light would not be so bright...smiles.
