Post 20: Heaven In a Cloud (The Cloud Series)

 

The sky is so blue it hurts my eyes

White cottony clouds are about

One goes by looking like a rabbit

Another has a jet stream through it

The sun's rays shaft thinly across

As the sky shines so blue it glows

And heaven feels real, and so very near

There goes a cloud shaped like a panda

And a mummy kangaroo yawns

God's graphic artists really overdid it

And made hope spring afresh

with just the simple joys

of animal shaped clouds flitting past

Yellow buttery sunlight streaming

And blue, blue skies touching my heart
